Almost a year already.................

So this is it, it's almost been a year and My how time flies!!! Like Ethan said "Mummy this year has gone by so quickly"!!!!! So we have all settled in our french live, the boys absolutely love it here and were very happy with their new school where they have been welcomed with opened arms. Such a relief for me who was soooooooooooo scared for them, it's always difficult for them to change school let alone in another country!!! They have done ever so well and the 3 of them are going up a class next year. Soooooooooooooo proud of them... They are now on holiday -since the 1st of July- for 2 months!!!!

As for me, I have never been sooooooooooooooooooo happy and now know I made the right choice... I have got back the very first love of my life whom I met when I was 16 and he was 21... 18 years ago we went our separte ways but have never been able to find what we had together with the people we choose... Our baby girl is due on the 31st of October!!!! As for crafting I have just started again and will soon have to start on the birth announcements!!!! Anyway I promise to be back later on with a card!!!!

Packing!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok I was supposed to post a few things BUT I have been soooooooooooooooooo busy with packing stuff. I've been snowed under boxes!!! We're off on wednesday and the boys cannot wait. Tristy Pooh wants it to be only one day left before we go -everyday I get "I'm dressed now Mummy can we go to France!" and the 2 others are very excited about "becoming" proper french!!! Bless them...

Now for the crafty side of this post! These were made for the teachers -18 all together!!!- for Christmas. The box in a bag were filled with homemade fudge and the "pocket" card with toffee cookies in every single one of them -I could actually make the all lot with my eyes close now!!! They were a success and I had to hand the recipes over to the greediest ones!!!

Something else I made for Aidan's teacher as all the other ones already had one at some point throughout the years! I made this out of salt dough and hand painted it with acrylic -diluted with lots of watet- before putting 3 coats of "yacht" varnish on both side. The little pencils sticking out of the bag were made with wooden skewers. She loved it.

Well I suppose it has been a while but I have been dealing with family issues and not very much to craft -apart from here and there when I needed to!!!- or do anything else really. The 3 musketeers have kept me busy too and the 4 of us are now getting ready to go back to France for good... So a very exciting time but also very stressful -which would explain the migraines!!!! lol...

Poorly boy...

Bad enough to have a sick child but even worse when it's on a Monday... My poor little Tristy pooh has been feeling poorly since Friday night -although he was fine Saturday and until Sunday late afternoon- and last night he was sick again so I was at the doctors' first thing in the morning and the poor little lamb has got a ear infection... He's fast asleep now which is definitely not like him to sleep in the afternoon!! I just hate to see them like this especially because Tristan is usually full of life and a right little wriggler too... At least I get extra cuddles...

The whiff of joy challenge this week was a great sketch. I had so much fun with it until I realised that I stuck the papers the wrong way so I had to rotate it... OOPS... Don't if it'll count but here is what I came up with. The Sentiment is Stamping Bella, The Papers are from Paper Salon, Card stock from S U and the usual bits and bobs...

I have also been tagged by Gina.... The rules is to share the 4th picture of your 4th folder on your PC. Well my 4th folder was some pictures of the kids' school plays which I cannot put on the web so I went for the next folder and here is the piccie... This little cutie is my Parent's Lassa Hapso (spelling?) Tommy in Tristan's pyjamas!!!

Rainy days....

So I suppose this is it for the nice weather then! We had our week of summer last week and it'll probably be snowing next week... I hate the rain... Still, I have Ethan's play at the school this afternoon and that will cheer me up -although I know I'm going to cry again!!! He's been singing along all week and it's apparently very good. They also got him to say a few things in French -well that's cheating and especially so because the teacher had him translate what he was suppose to say! lol... Bless....

Here for the card... This is the card I made Little H for her 11th birthday last Sunday. She absolutely loved it. She's a bit of a tomboy so I couldn't go with pink but still tried to keep it "girly"... The cute stamp is from High Hopes and fitted perfectly as she used to play with bugs and all when she was little. The Papers are from DCWV, the sentiments and card stock are from S U and bits and pieces from my stash.

I added some brown -love this combo!- and I had loads of fun with it. Bad hair day...

Happy Friday everyone!!!! The week end is finally approaching and with such lovely weather I'm pretty sure it's going to be a good one too! Oh and it's mother's day too!!!

Yesterday was my sister's birthday -21 and a few extra years!!! And even though I don't think she wanted to be reminded I still made her a card... My sister is a hairdresser, a very good one too but one that never takes the time to do her own hair and it's always up in a mess, I just had the perfect stamp for her. This cutie is from High Hopes and so is the sentiment. I know she will have a giggle and also that she will get me back next month when it's MY birthday! At least I can still say that I'm 3 years younger than her... The challenge over at High Hopes is to make a card without using Patterned Papers and My this was a challenge! But here it is...

Hello everyone. What a gorgeous day it is down here and hopefully it is going to stay like that for a bit longer as everyone is in such a good mood. Unfortunately we all know it is not going to...

I received the other day a new stamp from Lelo designs. Our Ethan is mad about Dragon and I thought I could start on his birthday card now so he will get it on time -that'll make a change! I also made this card for the Friday Sketchers challenge. I only wanted 2 tones of colour -green and blue and just added some ornage for the balloon to stand out. The Papers are from Piggy Tale, the brad is from Basic Grey, Buttons and Ribbons from stash... I accidentally left it laying around in my room and when he saw it he said " WOW Cool, who is that for!?!?! Can I have one of this for my birthday?" All I could say was "We'll see".... Oops!

First challenge!

Good evening... This is the Spoon Full of Sugar challenge sketch and it was so much fun that I will definitely take part in some more. Tomorrow is Aidan's birthday and I've used the cute little "cowboy Billy" stamp from Pink Cat Studio. I just love this little guy who actually reminds me of our Aidan with his round little face.. .Aaaaaaaaaaawwwwwwwww... Of course I have used my fantastic new promarkers to color him -I soooooooooooooooooo love them that I just couldn't stop colouring in! ... The papers are from Crate Papers, cardstock from S U, brads from Basic Grey and some buttons to replace the flowers on the sketch. I have kept it quite simple as it is a boys card and I have actually rotated it, I must admit that wasn't deliberate but I think it still looks fab like that... Done now the inside and the matching enveloppe...

I'm pretty sure Aidan is going to love it. I have also finished his little bags and pouches but I will have to post them tomorrow as I still have to go and wrap all his pressies...Good night all... And maybe tomorrow the sun is going to shine...

Hello everyone.... It's such a beautiful day outside and to make it even better I received today my promarkers! YIPPEEEEEE!!! Which means that the pile of ironing is going to have to wait again I'm afraid... I also received the papers from Tracy at Dies to die for and I've started the pouches for Aidan's birthday. All I have to do is decorate them. And you know what I am going to use to color the images, dont' you??? I'm off to play :o)

Dreaded Monday

The dreaded Monday is finally over... If there is a person out there who likes Monday then I would love to meet her or him. And it's getting cold again too... That's why I have decided that next winter I will hibernate and come back out in the spring. Sounds like a good plan to me.

Hope everybody had a great week end. It was over in a flash like I predicted and on top of that, I had the very traumatic job to go to Toys'r'us yesterday to get Aidan's presents for his birthday. Don't get me wrong I love picking presents for them, I just hate shopping BIG TIME... And I was so tired last night that I missed another episode of Supernatural. I love this tv programme.

The card I will show you today was made for my mum for Grandmother's day -in France- last Sunday. My Mum absolutely loves cards and I feel so bad for not sending her more... The image is from Sugar Nellie, papers are the gorgeous Sultry range for Basic Grey, card stock and sentiment from S U. I think the ribbon brad is from Bazzill but I actually don't remember where I got them from so if anybody know where I can get them please let me know as I would love to get some more... Anyway she loved it and I hope you will too...

Wow a second card!!!! Well same stamps, same papers but different.... This one is for my Mum's sister. They have similar taste so nobody's jealous...

Nasty bugs.....

Yes, the weekend is finally here... Mind you it's usually over in a flash before you even have the time to say "weekend"!!! Most of the Mums at school think I'm crazy to like the week end so much but I do... Yes the boys drive me absolutely up the wall but I enjoy being at home without having that "shool run rush" in the morning.... It's just nice to relax before the storm anyway as the house is usually a bomb site by Saturday Lunch time! This afternoon Ethan is off to London with his Dad to see a football match so it is going to be just me and the two little Muppets... The weather is quite nice so we'll probably take a walk to the park...

A big thank you to the lovely Suzanne for the gorgeous images she sent me this morning and she also put some beautiful brads with them too... And not to mention the stunning card she made. Thank you so much, you're a Doll... Go and visit Sue's blog and see her beautiful creations too, you'll love them. I also ordered some promarkers this morning and I just cannot wait to get them and have a play.

My card for today is for my big sister. She was ill last week with the gastric flu... Poor thing, with four boys to look after this was the last thing she needed!!! The stamps is from High Hopes, papers, cardstocks and eyelets are from S U, some brads and some ribbon to finish it off too... Hope this will cheer her up...

Spidey to the rescue!!!!

Happy Thursday everyone... Well today has gone pretty cold again but at least it's not raining or -worse- snowing. Had enough of that for this year I think. The kids absolutely love it but I hate it especially when it turns into ice and all that slushy mess. YUK! Today I'm going to share some piccies of my little "Tristy Pooh" who has gone to preschool in his Spiderman outfit. It's book day and they could go dressed as a book character. We have loads of dressing up outfit but Peter Pan was the only one from a book and it was far too big for him. On top of that he loves this one and wouldn't have it any other way... This spidey costume was offered to Ethan when he was 3 so it's 5 years old! I have had to mend it quite a few time but hey it is tough to be a superhero! So here he is in his swinging action...

I'm pretty sure he's going to have a smashing time... Have a great day too and keep warm.

Sunny wednesday...

Finally, the sun is back after a very gloomy day yesterday. I just couldn't believe the rain and that wind last night... When is spring coming, I can't wait any longer! Before I say or do anything else I would like to thank all the lovely people who have welcomed me back and all those who have emailed me. It has been highly appreciated and I can tell you now that it's soooooooooooooo good to back! xxx

I have got a few minutes while "Tristy-pooh" is watching Tarzan -again- so I'd better get on with a card! Aidan is very popular with the girls and would rather play with them than with boys! Probably had enough of his brothers at home... So he's a bit of a ladies man... Bless him... And this card was made for one of his (many) little "gilfriends". The stamp is from Sugar Nellie -so gorgeous and I absolutely love the sweet art ebony range. The papers and letters are from Basic grey, some ribbon, brads, flowers and I added the sentiments inside et voila.

Some really big clouds are coming this way now and I just knew it was too good to be true! YUK... Have a great day whatever the weather is like where you are.

Yes it's me, after all this time without much crafting ... I have to admit that I have missed it sooooooooooooo much and now I have started I think it might take another big blow to stop me again! I won't bore you all with all that has been going on since last year so let's get started with my 1st card then. A few weeks ago it was Tristan's 3rd birthday - I still can't believe that my tiny baby is no longer a baby... where does all this time go!?!?! So I made him a little card with that cute little lion from the sugar nelly range and the sentiment is from S U. I think the patterned paper is from Bisou but I will have to double check on that one... Isn't he cute...

A very BIG THANK YOU to all of you for your lovely comments and for the emails I have received for the past few weeks... They really cheered me up and were very much appreciated as it has been such a tough time for me... I am now much better but I still have a lot of things I need to clear in my head and forget them... Not easy and somehow rather painful but I'm trying to concentrate on the future as much as possible... Anyway my mojo is still buried underneath all that and I find it very hard to sit down and create anything at the moment...

Pretty in Pink

Happy Sunday everyone! It's absolutely gorgeous outside but so cold too! brrrrrrrr... Still I won't complain and enjoy the sunshine instead. On another note we are off to Bluewater this afternoon and I'm definitely not one to enjoy shopping! Especially with 3 boys who hate it too... Oh it's going to be fun... NOT! *sigh*

I do have a card for you today!!! And it's for all the lovely people who has left me comments on here. Especially for my previous card. I was watching one of my fave movies last night - A time to kill - while I was making it so it was pretty hard to concentrate. This movie still makes me cry even after seeing it dozens of times... I'm actually very happy with the way the card turned out because I wasn't inspired at all when I sat down and wasn't too sure about the colours either but it has definitely grown on me! And I hope you like it too.

Where's Mojo!!!

Well no I haven't disappeared from the surface of the planet!!!! I haven't blogged for a few days as I had my mind preoccuped with some incident that happened at the school between Ethan and one of his little friend. Ethan is fine and it was not his fault at all but the matter was still pretty serious... So I haven't had any inspiration at all to make any cards lately and my mojo has disappeared!!!! So if you see it could you please send it back to me as it's greatly missed! *lol*...

I managed to make a card last night but I'm not totally happy with it... *sigh*... I have used this cute little dinosaur from Whipper Snapper which I love especially to create babies cards. I also wanted to do something else other tht pale blue which is a bit too common. The greeting is from Pink Cat Studio and the background on the orangey brown -don't know what this colour is!- is from Penny Black... I have added some diamond glaze on the egg. Et voila... Hope you still like it.

This sweet little girl is the newest addition to the Pink Cat Studio line of rubber stamps. Her name is Lily and she is just a bundle of fun! Today the design team members are posting sneak peeks of the cards they have made using the fun new Lily & Tweet stamps. So be sure to check out the team member blogs to see all of the cards.

For the first card I used lots of pink as I made it with a friend of mine's little girl in mind who absolutely LOVES anything pink and she's a right cheeky little Miss. The papers are from Doodlebug and this has to be some of favorite ones too.

I made a Kick stand card for the second one and this stamp is ever so cute - reminded me of when I used to dress up in my mum's clothes and shoes... I used my Nestabilities - again - and the swirls sizzlits.

Busy Monday!!!!

I'm a bit late today and I have nothing to show either!!! oops ;o(... I could tell you that I had my Stampin up order yesterday! YIPPEEEEEEEEEEEE... But what a nightmare that journey was to collect if from Caz's!!!! We are just about 30 miles apart but they had decided to shut the M25 and waht should have taken about 45 mns took 2hours and 30 mns!!! How dare they shut the M25 when I need to go on it!!! The boys were asleep for some of the journey but then the "are we there yet"s and the "I want to go home"s started... And I was in charge of the map reading!! ME!!! We still made it and at least it was hassle free on the way back!!! Anyway the colours of the cardstock and the punches are fab!!! Caz alos kindly stamped some images for me... How sweet... It was lovely meeting her even though it was a very quick visit!

It's the week end!

And a sunny one too! Unfortunately I'm coming down with a cold and it's making feel sooooooooooooo tired... YUCK!!!... Thanks to the boys again... Saying that we know that when they're ill we should stay well away from them but noooooooooooooooo!!! We have to still kiss them and cuddle them even more than we usually do!!! So I shold really only blame myself... :o(

I have finally manage to make one of those Kickstand card!!! It had been on my "to do list" for ages and I really don't know why I didn't make it before because they're very quick! I have used the little monkey from the Missy B set - I found him so cheerful and I really like this set. The papers I used is from Scrapbook Australia - I think - I had never heard of it before but I so love these papers. I used my new scallop square nestabilities too! tee hee! :oD Brads and Ribbon as usual! ;o)

Lovely friend...

Happy Friday! I really do hope that everyone else has the same sunshine as we have down here! Pretty cold but I'm not going to complain about this!!!! To brighten my day even more I receive this morning a package from my friend Sally -at Craft Moments-. She sent me a beautiful card and a "chocolate champagne bottle" -Yummy, won't be able to show you this one as I have already eaten it!!! ;op... I absolutely love those scrummy papers, the colours she used and all the lovely tags... I'm so lucky to have such a lovely friend. So I wanted to share her card with you and here it is...

Update on Ethan's foot... Well as we were aware it definitely wasn't broken but he still can't walk properly on it so I think he did a tendon or something... Which also means no footie for him this week end... Aidan was poorly last night, he had a slight temperature and looked really grotty too... A bit better today but I felt he was better off staying at home today... Tristan's cold still there but it's definitely not affecting him at all! The little Muppet is full of beans!!! Hopefully we'll still manage to have a good week end! I'm collectiong my Stampin up order!!! YIPPEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!

What a miserable day...

Happy Thursday!!! Well looking outside the window it surely cannot be a happy day!! It's horrible... Raining and very windy! So depressing after yesterday's sunshine... I have nothing to show you today... I had to stay with Tristan on the couch last night until he fell asleep and guess what! I fell asleep too... Hmmmmmmmmmm... But I will have tomorrow! ;oD ... Ethan also hurt his foot last night while fooling around with his brother. Apparently Aidan tripped him over by accident and I had never seen a child so upset... He was devastated that he hurt Ethan so bad and he kept telling him how sorry he was... Bless him. Ethan is now at the hospital to have it checked out because he's still limping... Then Tristan banged his head against the clothes rack... would have helped if he hadn't been walking with his head down!!!

Hopefully today is going to be an accident free day but somehow I doubt it!

Bug again...

Bonjour... Another sunny morning down here but Tristan is coming down with a cold again!!! I just hope he's not going to pass it over to the all family again but fat chance!!! He's been sitting on the couch watching his favorite movie twice -already- "the Nightmare Before Christmas"... Some people say that their little ones are into Teletubbies or else and I can say that mine is into Jack Skellington and Hoogey Boogey! lol... He's also having a "I don't want to go to bed phase" at the moment and he's been up again really late so I suppose he's feeling really tired too! At least he won't put up a fight for his nap...
I have been working on some new Pink Cat Studio creations -which I cannot show you just yet!!- so not much time to make any other cards but I still manage to make this one with the cute little pirate from Sugar Nellie... I used more papers from Crate paper again - I just love them!!!- and kept the all colour scheme to colour the image. I still don't know who it's going to be for so I will add a sentiment or something else once I have decided! Hope you like it...

Happy frosty Monday!!! Yes another week end over and it is so cold outside again... Brrr I think I'll stay in today!!! YAY Prison Break is back on tonight so something to look forward to -I'm so addicted to this show!!!

Now... Who says Cats and dogs couldn't get along... This cute stamp is from Inky Antics and I so love it... I did try to make it a quick card but noooooooo... Took me quite a long time to make this one... The paper is from Cherry Arte and it is a doublesided one. Again I tried to use more scraps of cardstock too but the more I try the more there is to go back in the drawer!!!

Happy Sunday everyone!!! Hope you are all having a smashing weekend... The sun is out down here today so that's enough to make me happy... So I guess I will be stamping today while the boys are out watching Cinderella at the pantomine.

I think I'm getting the hang of those "Quick Cards".. lol... Here is one of the little frogs from the same set as the Puppy. I have used thhis gorgeous paper by Crate Paper - so gorgeous that it took me ages to get it out and use it up!- And I got some scraps of cardstock and some rusty red ribbon to match the stripes on it. Again I got the nestabilities out and added some brads to finish... Et voila...

Quick card!!!!

Yay another Friday.. .So another movie night with the boys and I think we might go for "Eragon"... That'll make a change from "Transformers", "Spiderman(s)" or some Disney movies!!! I now know those movies by heart... lol...

Last night I have managed to make a card in 45mns -max- which is a record for me who usually spend ages on a card!!! I am such a perfectionist that it's got to be as I want it to say that it's finished and I'm happy with it!!! And most of the time I go back to them and add or remove something... So for this "Quick Card", I have used some really cute stamps from Missy B -there are some very cute monkeys and frogs too in this set... And I sooooooooo love this mad looking puppy -put a smile on my face everytime I look at it! The paper is from DCWV, I used my nestabilities, added some ribbon and brads et voila... I'm actually happy with it like it is!!! lol... And I hope you'll like it too...

A little ray of sunshine

Wow the sun has finally managed to make it through the clouds! YIPPEE... I've just had enough of this horrible yucky weather and spring isn't coming fast enough!!!

My lovely "step mum in law" asked me to make her a baby card... I had to use this cute little tweet from the new set from Pink Cat Studio -if you haven't got yours yet, go and check it out because it's too cute-... I watercoloured the image and added some stickles on the wings too. I used some paper from Pebbles inc and combine it with brown -yes again, lol...- added some flowers, ribbon and brads et voila.

Birthday boy

Thanks to everyone for their birthday wishes to Tristan. He had a smashing time and enjoyed all the attention, opening all his presents and his " Ratatouille" cake - especially the icing!! :oD... Isn't it just so difficult after having 2 other boys to buy presents for him! I have so many toys of all age groups in the house that I'm running out of ideas and space for them all!!! lol... I haven't had the time to go through all the piccies I took but here are a couple .

And now for his finished birthday card... I have tried to use some of my ever growing scrap of papers and cards!!! My drawers are about to burst I have so many and as you can see I keep the smallest piece of paper possible! lol... But don't we all!? ;oD

Happy Tuesday everyone!!! And today is a lot brighter too... YIPPEE especially so because it is Tristan's big 2nd birthday today!!! So got him his decorations and a big Ratatouille cake! Got him loads of Goodies too... I have made him a card with one of the stamps I received yesterday but I cannot show it to you yet as it still needs some finishing touches! I can show you the coloured image... Oh what a tease!!!! But I will definitely post the all card tomorrow and probably a couple of piccies of the Birthday Boy too!!!

Another monday...

Yes it's another dreaded Monday! :o( ... Hope everyone had a nice week end... But is it me or are they over before you have the time to actually say week end!!!...

Last night I had time to play with the Magnolia images that Kim has kindly sent to me... I have a nephew who loves fishing so this image was very welcome - well any Magnolia images are very welcome, lol... - How cute is that little Edwin!? The papers I used are from Crate paper and I have used some scrap card I had left in my drawer... And to add a little bit of brightness to this card I have attach this cute little sun - also from Magnolia - I know my nephew is going to love it and he's the sort of little boy who keeps everything you send him! Aaaaaaaaaaawww bless... I hope you like it too... Et Voila...

And still no sunshine... YUK... On top of that I have to go to the supermarket - suicidal on a saturday - but I need to go and get Tristan his birthday cake for tuesday... Bright card on a Yukky day!!!

Is it ever going to stop raining!!! What a Yukky day - yet again... At least it's friday... YIPPEE!!! So it's so dark and miserable out there that I thought I could brighten up the day a little and post one of my most colourful cards!!!! It's much brighter than what I usually go for but they go so well with the little bird and I like the way it turned out. The papers are from Daisy Bucket d and the stamps are again from the new Tweet plate from Pink Cat Studio... The bright cherry cardstock was supposed to be mounted onto the same green card as the image but I didn't have enough left... lol

Here's Kitty...

As promised I will post a card made with one of the new Kitty stamps which will also be released on Sunday jan 20th... For this card I have used lighter colours... I really loved this paper from Crate paper. I have mounted and put on dimensionals the same patterned paper, added glitter, flowers, brads, eyelets and ric rac to finish it off... The image is also on dimensionals. I'm actually pretty happy with the way it turned out...

For this second card I went back to my much loved brown and pink!!! It's a pretty quick card to make - made it really late at night!!! Happy wednesday!!! :oD At last the sun came out down here after a very wet and miserable day yesterday! Yukky... Saying that it is probably going to start raining again later on! :o( Hope the sun is shining too where you are !!!

I don't like mondays....

Especially when it's as miserable as it is outside!!! Wet, dark and cold... YUK... :o(

So I went to the Glitter Pot on Saturday and Bryan was such a great help there, so thank you soooooooooooo much. I got some fabulous papers and the scallop circles nestabilities - they're sooooooooooo great and I'll definitely will get the oval and rectangle ones too!!! I managed to stay away from the rubber stamps too - although I had a quick peek at the Whipper Snapper ones! Sorry -Kim- I haven't had the time to take piccies of the goodies I bought... I should also receive an order from Capture the Magic today!! YAY...

Obviously I didn't get the time to post any card this week end - been working really hard yesterday all day "creating" but I can't show them to you yet!!! The one I've got to share with you is a Bella - I think she's savvyshopabella- and she has the most amazing butt ever! Wish mine was like that... :o( I popped her and the sentiment on dimensionals. The papers I used are from Basic Grey, added some ribbon, buttons and brads. Et Voila our Bella du jour... Hope you like her...

Happy Saturday!!! Hope everyone is going to have a smashing week end!!! No time to post a card (but I will have one to post later though...) as I'm about to leave to go to...................... The Glitter Pot!!!! It's sunny down here so a lovely day for a drive too!! YAY :oD Will probably stop at Toys'r'Us on the way back too... Not YAY... :o( But the boys have still got Xmas money to spend and they have been saving some of their pocket too so if I drag them to the craft shop I suppose it's fair enough to have to endure the toy shop... Will have to get creative tonight to release the stress though!

Spring in the post...

Yippee it's Friday and the sun is out! Probably not for long as big dark clouds are approaching pretty fast!!! Well this morning was very wet indeed :o(...

I have to show you something which arrived in the post today... The lovely Fiona sent me this beautiful acetate card after I saw the one she made on her blog... The picture is very poor and doesn't do the card any justice at all but it's gorgeous!!! The acetate has been beautifully stamped all over and the position of the flowers are so pretty too... Thank you ever so much Fiona for the little bit of spring you sent me, it really made my day... You can view those gorgeous acetate cards on Fiona's blog...

Happy Thursday everyone!!! And what a windy one it is!!! Wouldn't surprise me if it starts raining too... Really cannot wait for spring :o)... The card for today is going to be a Magnolia one and by the way I forgot to mention this new Tilda & Co Challenge Blog . It sounds like fun so what not give it a try if you're a total Magnolia addict!!! I won't have the time this week but I will definitely give it a go!

So voila little Edwin!!! I still don't know who this is going to be for but when I do I will add a chipboard number to it. Between my 3 boys and 4 nephews I'm not short for choice!!! Hope you like it...

Hello everyone... What a dull day it's been, so dark and wet and cold too ... Yuk... No cards today as I watched the "Da Vinci Code" last night - good film but too confusing for me!!! Instead I wanted to share a couple of pictures of Tristan. The first one was taken this summer when he still had his long hair... I so loved it but I was so fed up with so many people confusing him for a girl!!! We took them to Disneyland last year and we wanted to go on the Star Wars ride but the woman at the door told us the little girl was too small! Being just under 5 ft 3 I was about to ask her if she meant me!!! No she meant Tristan!!! I was so annoyed...

Anyway I was cutting Ethan and Aidan's hair the other morning and he was really willing to sit on the stool so he had the chop too... Ethan always put gel in his hair - never goes out without his hair done!!! - so Tristan always brings the gel to me to do his hair! So here he is now and do NOT be fool by this cute little face, he's a right little pickle!

Rain, Rain, Rain....

Happy Monday everyone! It was really sunny earlier on but the sun is gradually fading - oh what a surprise!!! Last night was very wet - and I mean veryyyyyyyyyyyyyyy wet - so I got my Hanna stamps out!!! She's just so adorable under her umbrella. I paper pieced her rain coat with some retro DCWV paper to amtch the background paper - from the same DCWV pad. I also used my spots and dots embossing folder on the green cardstock and I just couldn't resist some glitter on her boots!!! :oD A few ribbon and some brads - obviously - to finish it off et voila! You like it???

Perfect package

I really wonder where the time goes! I can't believe the week end is almost over ... I went shopping in Bluewater yesterday and as I was expecting it was suicidal - the boys didn't help the matter either!!! Anyway I didn't really get anything exciting but I'm happy to have found some birthday presents for Tristan's 2nd birthday in the Disney Store. Will just have to wrap them up now and I have the perfect card for this today - although the wrong colour!

This card was made with one of the new set from Hanna stamps. Isn't she just too cute! I chose some very girly colours and kept it again pretty bassic. The paper is from Daisy Bucket design and although it's a christmas design I love it for other cards too. I've added some ribbons, glitter to her tshirt and bow and 2 corners attached with a brad. Hope you like it.

A little bit of sunshine

Happy Friday everyone!!! Not as cold today but pretty dull really... So I thought I could post a bit of sunshine today! I finally got to play with the new Magnolia stamps I got for Christmas and I really enjoyed colouring these ones and putting them together! I even managed not to add any ribbon or brads! I just thought it didn't really need any at all. The flower on the bottom corner and the sun are on dimensionals. And apart from the words all stamps are from Magnolia. I just love this Tilda because she's got the same hair do as me!!! I'll definitely send this card to my parents... I miss them so much. Hope you like it... ?

It's sooooooooooooooooo cold outside! And I really hope it's going to snow to make it worth it!... The boys are back at school today so that means I've got a bit more time to myself and finally can go back to normal - well so to speak!!!! The house doesn't look as if a bomb had exploded in the middle of it and it is so quiet... A bit too quiet maybe!

The card for today is definitely perfect for today's weather!!! It is another of my latest Bellas and I just love her! She so cute and gracious on her skates... I have kept it pretty simple but I really like the way it turned out. I have used liquid appliaue for the fur on her coat - she's got to keep warm too! - and some stickles for a bit of sparkles! Do you like it?

Got your new year resolutions? Mine are the usual. I'm on a diet and will eat healthy - well from tomorrow anyway! -, ring my parents on a regular basis and talk to my sister as much as possible, be a tidier crafter and look after my stamps better! Last day of the year... Is it me or are the years getting shorter! They seem to go by so quickly... I suppose it's just me getting older... Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh!!! So I guess this is my last card for this year and the last post too! This is another Pink Cat Studio card! I just love this little Glamourous Kitty! The all set is just gorgeous! I used the paw stamp for the background and the words are also part of the set. The patterned paper is from 3 bugs in a rug and I added the fnishing touch - ribbon and brads of course!!! Happy Saturday everyone! Hope everyone has had a good Christmas. The boys enjoyed it very much - there's really nothing like Christmas when you're a child. They had lots of pressies and spent the day playing their new nintendo games! I was feeling much better - although I still have a massive headache which I can't get rid of, the sort of headache when it feels like your head is being squeezed by two elephants and your eyes are about to pop out!!! We spent the day at my parents in law and on boxing day we stayed home and watched Transformers which I now LOVE and we all have our favorite Autobots now - mine being Bumblebee and well the obvious Optimus Prime of course!!!

I received yesterday my new Bellas and some gorgeous new ribbons !! YIPPEE! I managed to put a card together but I think that my mojo is being crushed by this headache!!!! It's a pretty simple card and I only wanted two colours - pink and brown and there's no surprise there! - tied lots of ribbons together and added some glitter to her top and hair band... Very girly and I'll have to put this one aside for my sister! Hope you like it.

Thank you all so much for the get well wishes... I can finally get up today but not for too long as I'm still pretty weak... At least I'll get over it for Xmas day! Ethan and Aidan are over it too now but Tristan was a bit poorly this morning so I hope he'll feel better by tuesday.

Today's post is for my dearest friend Sally who is turning 21 and a few years today! She is one of the kindest and loveliest person I've ever met and I'm very proud to call her my friend... Cool dude with a bug....................

Sorry for not having blogged for a couple of days, I've been full of cold for the past few days but I'm feeling better today... Ethan is also off school today. He was complaining about not feeling too good on Monday during his nativity play - so he had to go home before I got a chance to see him do his part. Yesterday he really wanted to go to school for the Xmas party but he came back home not looking too well... He's usually a real chatterbox but today he hardly said anything... Poor little mite. Wonder which Muppets will get that next!!!...

So today's card has been inspired by my beautiful boy... I love this little dude - which is from Rubbadubbadoo I think -. He's one of Ethan's favorite too! The Delicious papers are from Chatterbox and I coloured the image keeping the same tone. Because it's a boy's card I couldn't really add ribbon so I added some orange string instead... Ethan loved it and hope you like it too...

How is everyone's Christmas shopping going then!? I thought I could stay with the spirit of shopping!!! I personally hate it but for those who love it here is the card for today... I don't know which brand the patterned papers are from but I just had to have them because they were just so yummy! The rubber stamp is from Rubber Romance again -those stamps are just so chic -, I used the same papers for her bags, added black glitter to her little dress, hat and shoes. And I managed a card without flower and brads BUT I still had to finish it with ribbon and buttons! Hope you like it...

My gold ring........

I thought I had to share this picture of Aidan with the gold ring he wore for his xmas play at preschool!!! He brought it back home the other night and wears it all the time now! Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaawwwwwwwwwwww... He still sings all those christmas songs. Yesterday he went to his school xmas party and now he's been doing the hokey Cokey since - and tristan joins in going "ooooooooooh Cokey Cokey"... He also came back so happy to have seen Santa!!! He asked him for a Nintendo Ds - so he can connect with his brother! - as we told him Santa had run out of Wii! Bless him ...

Wow... I'm overwhelmed by all the responses for the blog candy!!! It's going to be hard to depart one of my precious Bellas but I definitely know that wherever she goes, she'll go to a good home! If you like them -as much as I do- Emily has some fab new ones on her site so go and have a look there Stamping Bella... I just couldn't resist... :D

It's freezing out there today and the cards for today have been inspired by the frosty mornings we've had for the last coule of days... They're pocket cards, ideal to put a voucher or money inside. The stamp is from Pink Cat Studio and I love this little Kitty and the words . The gorgeous papers are from DCWV -my favorites in the pad and I've run out of it *sniff*... Used lots of glitter too. Melissa, hope you like it... * wink*...

For this second one, I have used this cute little angel from Rubbadubbadoo. He reminds me of Aidan with his blonde hair but the difference is Aidan is NO angel... lol The Scrummy papers are from Basic Grey and have added glitter to his wings and halo. The insert says "With every good wish for Christmas and the New Year" and I have stamped pale blue snowflakes on two opposite corners. I wasn't sure if it needed something else on the front but I din't want to draw the attention away from the little cherub... Will probably get back to it!

Sweet Treats......

Well they are empty for the moment but I will fill them up! lol... These are the little boxes I have made for the boys' teachers.The tutorial can be found on the Scs website... I don't know if you can see it on the picture but I have stamped snowflakes on the red box with clear versamark (my arm still hurts!!! lol)... I had planned on making some fudge to put inside but I won't have the time to make it so I will have to go and buy some... They are pretty simple but I didn't want anything fancy at all and it says it all on the front. Aidan was very pleased with what I made and he went "wooooooooooooooh" when he saw them!!! Bless him...

No cards today I'm afraid... (Sorry Sally!) but look at what the postman brought me this morning!!!! They're soooooooooooooooo cute but I have to be put them away until Christmas day... Hope everyone had a nice week end... We went to a shopping center yesterday because the boys wanted to see Santa -I just knew it was going to be suicide! Once we got there we couldn't find Santa's grotto because they decided to move it and put it outside!!! Anyway I was glad to see it wasn't that busy -especially so because it was raining and cold- but then an elf came to ask me if I had a ticket!!! You have to book in advance to see Santa!!! I was fuming and the boys were very disappointed too....

Now let me tell you about Edwin! He comes out straight from the 50's and he is a big fan of Elvis! He's got his Rock'n'roll Lps and is waiting by the juke box that plays "Love me tender"... Lol... Obviously Edwin is from Magnolia and all other stamps on this card - background and jukebox- are from Pink Cat Studio. They are part of the retro 50's plate. How cool is he!?

Soppy little me...

Happy Saturday!!! Well it's raining and very cold down here and it's a bit of a miserable morning... Aidan's play yesterday was soooooooooo cute and he was lovely as a gold ring! He sang, danced and played his little part... I had tears in my eyes - I always do at school plays! Soppy little me... The card for today has absolutely nothing to do with christmas, children or gold ring!!!! It's a lady one... This stamp by Rubber Romance is so sophisticated, I love it as the lady is so chic. I just wanted black and blue for this card so I decided not to colour the background on the image but leave it as it is. I love the way it turned out and love this dotty paper. Hope you like it and that it brings you a bit of spring.

Fabulous fifties

I just love the fifties . And who didn't ever think that the Fonze wasn't cool! lol :D My fave part was the fashion back then... Really scrummy clothes so this set of rubber stamps - from Pink Cat Studio- has to be one my favorite. I just love this outfit, the shoes and words are also part of the set and there is some more great stamps on the plate -a gorgeous cadillac too!. I wanted the card to be only in white, pink and black but I added a bit of blue in the background. I had to colour this little pooch on the skirt in pink! And it wouldn't be a **Isa** card without the ribbon, brads and buttons!

I had to try those little Sugar Nellies! They're pretty cute too and it was fun making this card. I only used scrap of papers I had in my drawer -got so much of them now that it's getting to the point where I can hardly close this drawer! I love this papers by Basic grey, the colours are just fab and give you a lot of choice for your image. I added a little button to her cardigan and some brads to her little boots to make them look less plain. The blue ribbon matches the blue on the PP. And there she is ... Hope you like her.

Oh la la... Je ne fais pas un tres bon boulot a traduire mes postes! Desolee...
Il fallait que j'essaies ces petits tampons Sugar Nellies. Ils sont plutot mimis et j'ai beaucoup aime faire cette carte. J'ai juste utilise des bouts de papiers que j'avais dans mon tiroir -j'en ai tellement que je ne peux presque plus le fermer! J'adore ces papiers de Basic Grey, les couleurs sont fab et elles vous laissent un choix varie pour votre image. J'ai rajoute un bouton a son gilet et des "brads" a ses petites bottes. Le ruban bleu va avec le bleu du papier. Et la voila... J'espere que vous l'aimerez.

I had to make some more christmas cards - I'm so far behind - and I wanted to make some funky ones! Something that wasn't too christmassy to make but still felt like a wintery card... If this makes any sense!!! So I used Snowbunnybella because I just love her and Bella always put a smile on my face... Lots of glitter there - it looks pink but it's clear - brads and ribbons where I added a couple of buttons too -well the usual! Very girly and I have already found them a good home!!!

Busy mums...

Being a busy mum of 3 little monsters, I know how hard it is to get time for yourself so I'm dedicated this card to my sister -who has 4 boys of her own!- and all the busy mums out there to remind them to take some time for themselves whenever they want and CAN ... The stamp is a Bella one -the words are separate stamps-, I've added stickles to the bubbles of her bath and diamong glaze on the bath tub. You like?

Watch this space for Kitty :D!!!

Kim's Challenge...

Kim at Simply Fairies is having a blog candy, the challenge is to make a birthday card and this is what I came up with for it! This is my first challenge and it was really fun to do. Been feeling a bit down with very little self confidence lately so I really enjoyed making this card.

For those who haven't read previous post. I used a Inky Antics rubber stamp which is a Christmas one but there is no way I was only going to use it for Christmas!!! Far too cute to stay in a drawer for the rest of the year!!! I just masked her little Christmas hat for this card. I tried to match as much as possible the colour of the dotty patterned paper -YUMMY!-, added some liquid applique to her outfit, diamond glaze to the vespa, a couple of flowers -I really like those plastic ones as it makes a nice change from the Prima ones!!!- a few (!!!! :D) brads and I love the greeting! Ta da da............... here it is!

Tilda had a house...

There was no cardmaking for me last night as I was far too tired from the previous night and Prison Break was on -now I have to wait until january to see what happens next ... Aaaaaaaargh!!!! Neverless I do have -of course- a couple of cards to share with you! They are part of my Magnolia collection!!!! I really couldn't resist this cute little house -although I kept taking it out of my shopping basket and putting it back in!!! It's so cute... I have added diamond glaze on the windows and on her little red shoes!!!

I'm so tired this morning!!!! Aidan had a terrible night and was up for a couple of hours until 4.00 am! So I hope I'll ype this right as my eyes are really struggling -and that is even with my glasses on!!!!... On a more fun side, I had a good play with my Magnolia stamps and they're so cute! I just love colouring them BIG TIME!!!!

So here are a couple with one of the stamps... I love this stamp as it reminds me of this time of the year wiht all the leaves falling and all that... I will add glitter to her wings -ran out of it last night!!!- and a greeting on the bottom on the right. I've had this papers for ages but never really had the right image for them. This one works really well -I think!

I'm no big fan of the Papermania range but I love the colour combo on this paper and I like the way this card turned out.

Bonjour!!!

And happy Friday!!!! Hope the sun is shining wherever you are! It is down here but for how long, who knows!?!?! It's nice while it lasts though and it makes me happy!

Today's cards ... Kids ones! Aidan has another party to go to in a couple of weeks and I thought I might as well make the card now -the last time I had to go and buy one (shame on me I know!!!). I'm not very happy with it and my excuse is that I made it at 2.00 am this morning aka the bad colouring and embossing!

More Magnolia now I'm afraid!!! My friend Nathalie asked me to make a card for a little girl -great excuse to use Tilda!!! Here is what I came up with... Tilda has cured it!!!!

I received yesterday my magnolia stamp which I won on ebay... Little Tilda in her petticoat!!! She's so gorgeous... I had a good play with her last night and she has cured my Cardmaker block!!!! Here are a couple of cards... Hope you like them... Shiny shoes used to make me feel a million dollars when I was little so I have added diamond glaze on her little boots!

J'ai recu hier mon tampon de chez magnolia que j'ai gagne sur ebay! La petite Tilda avec son petit manteau! Elle est pas mimie? J'ai bien joue avec la nuit derniere et elle m'a guerie de mon blocage de creativite!!! Voici quelques cartes et j'espere que vous les aimerez... J'adorais les chaussures vernies quand j'etais petite alors j'ai applique du "diamond glaze" sur ses petites bottes!
Maintenant tout ce dont Tilda a besoin est un petit Edwin! hi hi!!! J'attends une autre livraison de ces tampons alors il y aura d'autres cartes...

Cardmaker Block!!!

Hello everyone!

Happy tuesday! It's still pretty miserable down here.. Rain and cold which probably caused my "Creativity block"!!! And I'm suffering big time! LOL... I find it so hard sometimes just sitting in front of a blank card and nothing comes to your mind but I still managed to make a few cards!!!

The first one is for my lovely friend Sally who loves black and white cards. This stamp is from Rubber Romance and is perfect for this colour combo!!!

This second one is a pocket card - I loved the tutorial of it on the Scs site!-. I love this colour combo too and the cute little angel!

And finally, the last one but not least! This one gave me such a hard time and I'm still not 100 % happy with it!!!! Might go and change it again!!!!

Bonjour tout le monde!

Joyeux Mardi! C'est toujours aussi gris dehors . Il pleut et il fait froid et c'est surement ca qui a cause mon "blocage de Creativite"!!! Mdr... Je trouve ca tellement dur des fois de m'asseoir devant une carte blanche et aucune idee ne vient mais j'ai quand meme reussi a faire quelques cartes!

La premiere est pour mon adorable amie Sally qui adore les cartes Noires et blanches. Ce tampon est de Rubber Romance et il est parfait pour cette combinaison de couleurs.

La deuxieme est une "Carte Pochette". J'ai craque sur la technique que j'ai vu sur le site Scs. J'adore cette combinaison de couleures et l'adorable petit ange!

La derniere m'a vraiment donne du fil a retordre!!! Et je ne suis toujours pas 100 % contente avec le resultat!!!! Je vais peut etre aller la modifier encore!!!

Aujourd'hui j'ai aussi signe pour le Stampers Club de Caz a Stampin up!!! YOUPI!!!!

Ethan keeps giving me notes with how much he loves me written in them and so he asked me if I could make him a card with the little Dinosaur stamp I have! So I made him this card just to tell him how much I love him too!

Hmmmmmmmmm ?

Hope everybody is keeping warm! It's so cold outside... Brrrrrrrrrr...

Anyway... My card for today... Well I wasn't sure about posting it really, you know that feeling when you finish a card and you really happy with it but then someone tells you it's not very good! Apparently this one isn't and doesn't feel "Christmasy" enough for somebody. I was happy whith the way it turned out but now my confidence has been completly crushed. The technique for this card is available on the Scs website. The snowflake is on dimensional. Hope you like it... I have also decided not to do the Christmas fair at the school...

So what do you think of it?

J'espere que tout le monde reste bien au chaud. I lfait tellement froid dehors... Brrrrrrrr

Bref... Ma carte pour aujourd'hui. Je n'etais pas sure de la poster ou pas, vous savez cette sensation quand vous finissez une carte et que vous etes satisfaite avec mais quelqu'un vient vous dire qu'elle n'est pas tres belle! Apparement ma carte n'est pas tres belle et ne crie pas assez "Noel". J'etais tres contente avec la tournure de cette carte mais ma confiance a totalement ete "pietinee". La technique pour cette carte est sur le site Scs. Le flocon de neige est sur coussin dimensionel... J'ai aussi decide de ne pas faire la foire de Noel de l'ecole pour y vendre mes cartes.

Qu'est ce que vous en pensez?
